UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2023/2024 SEMI - FINALS REPORT

4 teams, 4 matches, 2 legs, but only 1 of each can enter the final. Let’s see how it all went down in the semi – finals of the UEFA Champions League…

PSG vs. Dortmund (0-2)

First Leg: 1-0 for Dortmund

Second Leg: 1-0 for Dortmund

The first two teams of the semi – finals played the most “mediocre” football of the season.

It should be noted that both games played out the same: PSG had plenty of chances, but they aimed to do the “Youtube Crossbar Challenge” rather than scoring a goal. Meanwhile Dortmund, actually tried to score.

In both cases, they actually did. And it was the same player: Mats Hummels.

I honestly don’t know what to add about these games. Both teams played well, with PSG being slightly better.

The reason why I labelled both games as “mediocre” is mainly due to the second leg. IT PLAYED EXACTLY LIKE THE FIRST!

Fair play to Hummels, though. The man guided his team to the final through thick and thin. Who knows? Maybe Dortmund’s icon, Marco Reus, will finally lift the Champions League trophy. It would be a bombastic farewell gift to one of Germany’s finest players…

REAL MADRID vs. BAYERN MUNCHEN

First Leg: 2-2

Second Leg: 2-1 for Real Madrid

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH!!! DISGRACEFUL GAMES!!!

Bayern were the more dominant team in the first leg of this semi – final fixture, where they ALMOST had it in the bag even before the second leg had begun, but dirty play tactics by Real prevented them from winning.

THE SECOND LEG, HOWEVER!!! OH BOY!!!

Davies scored the first goal of the game, giving Bayern the lead, before Joselu scored in the 88th minute. So far, so good. Nothing suspicious or down right disgraceful.

BUT THEN, THAT SAME PLAYER WAS IN AN OFFSIDE POSITION WHEN HE SCORED HIS SUPPOSED 2nd GOAL! The VAR confirmed that it was indeed “onside” and that the goal counted. But minutes later, when Bayern was on the offense and scored to equalise the game, whilst every player of theirs was ONSIDE, IT WAS DEEMED OFFSIDE!?!?!? LIKE WHAT????

See the highlights for yourselves and say what you think it was.

The final will be played on June 1st at Wembley. DORTMUND vs. REAL MADRID.

Fucking hell, I am not looking forward to this game if Real plays like how they do (by being dirty).
