PREMIER LEAGUE MONTHLY REPORT - JANUARY

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

HAPPY OLD NEW YEARS!!!

SRECNA SLAVA!!!!

Says the guy who is 1 month late to these events

The first chapter of the New Year was a very busy one for me, to the point where I just wasn't able to even write even a basic story nor a simple poem. BUT, all of it was worth it, as I was able to pass an exam with ease and now I'm officially in the endgame of my college life (should've finished this earlier than before, but hey! Better late than never). And after I passed, I just wanted to sit back and relax for a bit until I went back to writing my usual stuff. I make it sound like I don't enjoy it, but trust me, fellow reader, I do. It's just that I am WAY BEHIND my very own schedule with publishing my monthly report that I am feeling moody right now and slightly unmotivated to even write my own name. But No Pain means No Gain, unless you're a Man United fan, in which you receive pain without any gain...

BRENTFORD vs. NOTTINGHAM FOREST

The return of the king, lots of changes, lots of yellows.

The opening of the game was quickly started by Danilo in the 3rd minute. Forest must've thought of a strategy that would allow them to quickly beat Brentford. But Toney, who had just returned after his ban due to betting scandals, said "NO!" and equalised in the 19th minute. An emotional moment for the lad. But that still doesn't justify his actions on betting. His goal was pretty amazing however.

Then Mee and Wood proved some valid "arguments", but Maupay in the 68th minute sealed the deal. 3-2 for Brentford.

An emotional match for Toney, fouls and goals. It was a good day for Brentford. Not so much for Nottingham...

ARSENAL vs. CRYSTAL PALACE

5 body pieces of The Glaziers were found lying around the Emirates Stadium. Magalhães, Trossard and Martinelli are wanted for causing a huge explosion within the stadium...

LUTON vs. BRIGHTON

And they said they're going to finish last. What a bunch of idiots!

LUTON HAS DONE IT YET AGAIN! Proving that money isn't the answer to all of our problems. For the most part.

These lads have been quite good in the Premier League ever since they came from The Championship. Fighting to their last breath every game, they almost drew against some of the biggest teams in the country, and in some cases, almost won. WELL GUESS WHAT? They actually won against a team that's sitting in a pretty sweet spot in the League!

THEY THRASHED BRIGHTON 4-0! WITH EASE, I MIGHT ADD! WITHOUT DIFFICULTY, SOME MIGHT SAY!

The first half was EXPLOSIVE! A quick 2 goal early lead from Adebayo and Ogbene, followed by 2 more goals from Adebayo in the 42nd and 56th minute. The Seagulls were completely defeated and unable to do anything. Luton kept the game under their control, with constant pressure on the attack, constant pressure on the defence, and constant pressure on EVERYTHING.

Luton are still in danger in ending up at the Bottom 3. However, given their desire to prove themselves to be part of the Prem, they need to continue head strong, as they did against Brighton. I cheer for you to remain in the top flight. CHEERS!!!

STANDINGS

I was so busy with my exam that I even forgot to take a picture from the table and how it looked in January. Luckily, the positions haven’t changed much, so it’s all good.

Tomorrow is also the 66th anniversary of the Munich air disaster where 23 people lost their lives, 19 were injured, and only 21 survived. The plane had a total of 44 occupants. This happened right after their second leg match against Red Star Belgrade in the quarter finals of the 1957-1958 season of the UEFA Champions League.

I hope you flowers aren’t too upset with our current form and that we can’t live up to the standards we established and were known for. Only thing we ask from you is patience. We will bounce back and make you proud.

Forever brothers…

Заувек браћа...
