EVERTON VS MAN UTD
On November 17th, Everton were deducted 10 points for
breaching the Premier League's profit and sustainability rules. The punishment
was delivered with immediate effect and saw the club drop position on the table,
battling relegation and break a record. Portsmouth were deducted 9 points in
2010 for similar reasons. The fans were super unhappy and angry about the
decision and started petitions to boycott the League and its shitty rules. I
have to agree with them on this one: Everton broke 1 rule and were deducted 10
points, whereas Manchester City has broken 115 RULES in the last 8 years, yet
no punishment. Absolute disgrace!
To show their anger, they brought up all sorts of banners and flags do
demonstrate their statement, message and discontent for their current
situation.
And then they conceded a goal of the season contender from Garnacho in the 3rd minute…
SHEFFIELD UTD VS WOLVES
A football game where it was essentially a fight for sheer survival. The
hunters became the hunted.
Skipping over the first half as it wasn’t as spectacular as the second,
because shit went wild there.
Archer scored in the 72nd minute, with an assist from McAtee.
Win was within Sheffield’s grasp, but those damn Wolves bit back. I inserted
“damn” for dramatic purposes. Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, equalised in the 89th
bloody minute, with a little bit of help from The Korean Guy (Hwang Hee-Chan).
The added time after the mad equaliser was 10 minutes. Fucking VAR
causing games to extend and become tiresome to watch.
But once the 100th minute was reached, that’s when the winner
was scored. AND IT WAS SHEFFILED THAT GRABBED THE 3 POINTS!!!
Despite winning, Sheffield are still in the bottom 3 fighting for
survival. These 3 points were VERY MUCH needed.
CHELSEA VS MAN CITY
Just look at the image and the highlights below to see what the actual
fuck happened, because this was a match where there were goals flying
everywhere…
STANDINGS
Kind of a short monthly report. My review on Tomb Raider III drained me
from creativity and I’m in a state of semi – hibernation, where I am taking a
break from writing, but will try to post something. That and upcoming exams
around the corner are forcing me to put my pen on the sides. That being said, I
will make a recap on the Champions League Group Stage once the final match of
said stage is over. Not right away, but the following day.
Until next time,
