| GUESS WHO'S BACK? BACK AGAIN? THE PREM IS BACK! TELL A FRIEND!!! |
I just want to say that it feels great to be back writing on my blog about all sorts of things. Yesterday's piece on Street Fighter was a blast. That will continue, as there are 5 games in the franchise that need to be covered. But because that would take a while for me to cover, I'll now focus on doing the Matchweek 24 report of the Premier League. I'm sure nothing bad has happened while I was gone...
Burnley vs Manchester United
| CAN WE PLEASE WIN A FUCKING GAME FOR ONCE?!?!?!? |
NEVERMIND! Something bad did happen while I was gone.
Not only did we draw against FUCKING Burnley, but the game before this one, we lost on penalties to bloody Middlesbrough (fucking Middlesbrough) in the FA Cup. What a way to pay respects to the victims of the Airplane Crash that took the lives of many United players back in 1958 in Munich. Instead of winning, we keep on losing.
As for the game against Burnley, it was a travesty. A goal in the first half scored by Pogba (18th minute) wasn't enough for United to secure the win, as Burnley equalized as soon as the 2nd half began. On top of conceding a goal, the current last team of the league used our mistakes to their advantage, and kept pressing hard and good. Our response to such attacks was poor. Thus, in the end, we ended with a draw, and a disappointing game...
Terrible performance from United...
Aston Villa vs Leeds United
Steven Gerrard's Villa managed to avoid defeat at the hands of Leeds with an insane draw, in which saw the likes of Couthino, Daniel James and Jacob Ramsey just banging non-stop.
Daniel James scored in the first half of the game twice. Those two goals were denied however, by Couthino and his mate Ramsey, who made the score 3-2 before the start of the second half. The second one, was when Diego Llorente equalized the game. This blinded Ezri Konsa with rage, that caused him to be sent off near the end of the game.
The game ended with both managers shaking their hands, and splitting the points. However, Leeds needs to focus on not dropping down from their current position. Should they drop, it's back to The Championship for them...
It's all square at Villa Park. No winner was decided. But plenty of goals for you to watch...
Wolves vs Arsenal
- Wolverhampton played well and gave their best against Arsenal, but that wasn't enough. Played fantastic football in both first and second half, but in the end, it was all in vain.
- Arsenal on the other hand, scored in the first half, thanks to Gabriel Magalhaes in the 25th minute, then got another Gabriel sent off in the 69th minute. Nice?
Arsenal got away with murder...
