PREMIER LEAGUE MONTHLY REPORT (ASTON VILLA EDITION) - DECEMBER

 

The end of the year 2023 is closing in. And the only thing I can remember about this year is that Arsenal bottled the chance to win the 2022/2023 season, United having a shitty time so far, more players joining the Saudi league... And I guess that's about it. Oh and Chelsea being worse than us.

So how do I sum up the month of December?

Well, usually I would put a quirky intro (like this one), or skip it altogether and go straight for the reports. However, this time it's going to be different, because one club decided to steal the spotlight from the others and shock everyone. They're still doing bloody amazing and are just 3 points away from being 1st in the league. I am of course talking about ASTON VILLA, who have been on fire so far.

THE CHAMPIONS!!!

Ah, the Champions League! The greatest competition in Europe, where the top clubs of each European country fight to prove who's the best of the best. Drama, tension, upsets, joy, tears. It's all here in Europe's most elite competition.

For this season, I will give short summary of the group stages, rather than doing reports on them twice a week. The first format was super tiring not going to lie, so I'm trying something new for this.

Last season was pretty wild, up until the final, when City faced Inter and managed to win in the most boring way possible. Fast forward to now, new faces and new victims step up for the challenge. Some might survive the group stage, some might go into the Europa League, and others might pack their stuff and return home.
